In Kannada writings, Sanskrit loan words are written the same way they are written in Sanskrit. For which, additional 10 to 20 letters like aspirate stops, ḥ(:), ṣ(ಷ್), ṛ(ಋ) are used. These letters are not needed while writing native Kannada words.

Loan words from other languages are written in Kannada the way they are pronounced in Kannada. However the same rule doesn’t apply to Sanskrit loan words which are written exactly the way they are pronounced in Sanskrit.

This practice is not really required for Kannada. These additional letters in Kannada writings create unnecessary problems for children during their learning and also for the elders who use it in Kannada writings.

Compared to the more privileged children, the less privileged children undergo greater difficulties due to the same and they remain at a distance from Kannada writings.

The above mentioned difficulties can be solved by writing the Sanskrit loan words just like the way they are pronounced in Kannada.
